I was blown away when I texted him to let him know that our 19 yo daughter was calling for roadside assistance in Athens, because the insurance cards say “inform your agent”. Lo and behold, Scott calls me and says “I’m in Athens moving my daughter in to her apartment” and he offers to swing by to assess the situation with my daughter’s car. He did and my daughter fell weeping into his fatherly arms, grateful to have a trusted adult with her. Though he wasn’t able to fix her car, he was able to help her diagnose the problem and he called me to inform me of what all he thought the mechanic would say. First, Scott saved us a ton of money switching from Allstate to State Farm, and now he is forever our friend for taking care of our daughter at a vulnerable time.
